‘FREE’ is the digital artwork of creative artist, Hana Pernich.  Her individualized style of artwork is the combination of her photography & traditional form of patterns which represents her time of being ‘FREE’.  On the day she felt completely ‘FREE’, Hana was enjoying her day out fishing on the Gold Coast with her husband.  She was mesmerized by the beauty of the water.  During low tide when her husband was pumping for yabbies, the light was glistening upon the ripples of the water so Hana took photos of that moment.  She could see the beauty of the light & energy & she wanted to highlight the movement of the water and life under the water.  This was enhanced by using effects in Photoshop Express.

The linework represents the life that flows within the elements.  The source of energy begins with purple light which symbolizes power and ambition.  Created from the seed, the energy & life amongst the elements grows & blooms into the flower.  The petals of the flower represent the elements.  They are a powerful force that has their unique purpose in life, Earth, Wind, Fire & Water.  The pink flower represents being intuitive and insightful, showing tenderness and kindness with its empathy and sensitivity surrounded by the lime green which gives growth, harmony & kindness.  As the beauty of a flower, grows within the elements the truth is that her beauty exists as she is ‘FREE’.
